NEC RVT-R Writer

I know this is a long shot, but I just received my NDEV today with plenty of documentation on the NEC RVT-R Disc Writer. I believe it's the last piece I need for a complete Wii/Revolution Dev Kit. If you have one please PM with an asking price. Photos would be great too. I have the software so just the writer/cable/power cord should be fine.

Knowing you have a NDEV and a RVT-H you dont really "need" a RVT-R writer, except for collecting purposes maybe(you would still need to get a RVT-R reader(green faceplate) and blank RVT-R discs to really make use of the writer).

The NDEV works with ODEM (for disc emulation) and RVT-H works with images so no writer needed

I had a writer some years back but they are really hard to get and therefor overpriced(mine wasnt but yeah depends on the seller).

 

Ya I know I dont NEED it. I have a RVTR Reader and blank discs too. Just wanted it for collecting purposes.

Has anyone figured out a way to make a regular disc burner act as a rvtr burner yet?

 

Crediar did but iirc he was never sharing the hacked/edited burner firmware, go for a original NEC instead, this is a real hardware monster
