This is funny as shit, even if you don't understand WTF they're saying. http://www.big-boys.com/articles/holditin.html Our local German says it's Dutch. I'm just dying to find out what the subject of the talk show is.
Well, it depends on how much filming equipment is near by and how much vacation/recovery time you can afford to take... :banghead:
It is indeed Dutch (or Flemish as it's actually from Belgium): Host: "You used to have a normal life, and then you came out of the anesthetics, and then you notice that life won't be the same, how do you respond to that?" Woman: "Well, initially with lots of disbelief..." Guy: "Actually disbelief is the right word..." <Host laughs> Guy: "Actually disbelief is the right word that she uses because initially I realized that this is not possible... " <Host bursts into more laughing> Host: "So you try to <verb missing because of different sentence order> your future... <bursts into laughter again> <Guy stares in disbelief> Guy: "I really don't understand what is happening now" Host: "I'm sorry, really. Excuse me, ladies and gentlemen. <turns back to guy> So that also means that... err... sexuality also poses a big problem..." Woman: "Well, my partner has done it <bad translation> and I don't blame him..." Guy: "And that fact that..." <Host laughs again> Guy: "...if you deal with sex, it's not only the physical thing that counts but also the sweet words..." <Host really screams with laughter> Actually, I'm pretty sure this was actually intended a parody, as anyone who's watched Canvas' "Alles Kan Beter" some years ago will recognize the host. It's typically in their ally to pull off stuff like this.
Thanks for the translation. The comments at Big Boys say the host was fired right after the show. Man...that's brutal.
http://www.big-boys.com/articles/holditin2.html Here is an updated version with the host telling what went wrong.
Yeah, definitely. Two of the actors are very recognizable from the (masterful) absurdist programs "Het Peulengaleis" en "Alles Kan Beter", I'm 100% sure it's not real.
