Need a review of some of my English texts

I am currently applying to a Canadian university and I'm required to write some texts for supplemental applications.
It's about 4 or 5 texts of which I have only finished 1 and a half so far. They all are supposed to consist of about 250 words, the current version has 271.
What I'm concerned about is my grammar and adequacy of the wording really. I ask for your help as I want to leave an as good as possible impression on my Admission officers.
If someone with very good knowledge (native speaker would be great!) of the English language could help me out correcting even just one of my texts, I would be very grateful.
