Not worth it, if you seriously want a programmer you need to offer him a basic in the beginning with a completion bonus in the end, not only does this show commitment from the company side but it gives the programmer some security. No offence but Ive had deals like that fall trough more times than I can count and the programmer always looses. PS What will the companies role be in the development,patents, just funding or can they bring something to the table aswell, no one would be interested in helping if they can simply do it themselves any way.
