Can't figure out how to make a shortcut on unleashx dashboard need a very thorough step by step tutorial how to do it from scratch. there doesn't seem to be any good written tutorials available for this extremely frustrating task.
Download Xbe Shortcut Maker. http://www.theisozone.com/downloads/xbox/tools/xbe-shortcut-maker/ The only fields you really need are Target Path and Title Name... the image can just be left as default. If you want a custom one, you'll need to use an XBX editor of some kind. I've never touched the Title ID and it's worked fine. Hit "Create Shortcut" when you're done and that's it. Not sure why it's so frustrating to be honest. From the readme: Alternate link for Fast_xbx2dds2img_v1.0.0_Final.rar: ftp://ftp.gx-mod.com/xbox/pc/utilitaires/hack-dashboard/Fast_xbx2dds2img_v1.0.0_Final.rar
Please explain which part makes no sense. Better yet, explain what you want the shortcut to do (in detail) and I can (possibly) just make one for you.
I've tried to make a shortcut and place it on the dash (unleashx) but it does not show up. The shortcut is to start a xbe file default.xbe for coinops that is loaded onto the hard drive in the F: folder.
Why do you need to make a shortcut? Just put shitty CoinOps in your apps folder on F: and it will appear on the applications list...
Made a new folder in the F: titled apps copied the default.xbe. It now shows up BUT when it's selected it hangs and goes back to the dashboard..
Figured it out, didn't think it was ever that simple. I had named the folder that had everything contanied "emulators" so it was not recognized so just renamed it to apps, now it all shows up. Thanks Hexigon and others for your support.
i kinda got same problem juat Now my emulater is not on my unleashx menu when i got to the files i have all the games ect just not the shortcut so i can't play my emulated games any ideas??
