Need Game Gear Dpad Part

I'm looking for the silicon pad that goes underneath a Game Gear Dpad. I played mine so much as a kid the left button is actually torn on the pad, I just want a replacement without having to buy a whole new Game Gear. Anyone have a busted one laying around they could get one from?

 

I know that the NES, Master System, Megadrive (and I think the Super Famicom / Nintendo) all use the same d pad rubber mat, so you could open the system and check.

If not then a quick repair is to cut parts of the rubber mat of another system and use some small amount of rubber glue (so it can rub off) to stick the sides down to the PCB. (I've done this with a third party pad that I needed to work).
