need help adding text to a GIF

    hey guys, I always notice that you guys have pretty cool signature gifs in your posts, so I wonder, what program do you use to add text to your gifs? Tonight, I must of at least used 6 different programs that didn't work correctly (Easy GIF 5) or didn't even have a text function despite being offered on their webpage.

    Any advice is appreciated.

    Lol it will get a laugh but paint shop pro.

    Easy as spit to use.

    I used to use Paint Shop Pro 7 - it was AWESOME and simple but probably well out of date by now :p

    At the moment I use nothing :(

    Photoshop CS3. It's very simple to make animated gifs.

    If you're looking for something free, try GIMP.

    I use PSP 5 exclusively, which is a good 10 years old. Works just fine for everything I need.
