Anyone reputable willing to purchase something on my behalf?

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...Sell_LogicX&refwidgettype=cross_promot_widget

Only shipping to Europe, Asia, Australia, Canada. I've already asked if they would ship to the US... "Nein" is what I got.

Also, I'm not sure how we would do this. I'm willing to send the money to pay for the auction, but I don't REALLY want to send anyone money and they end up losing the bid. Any ideas are welcome.

    Thanks a bunch.

    What the heck is it?

It's a zero feedback seller. no picture. I wouldn't trust this seller.

    Zeta

Back when Be inc. was going under (Makers of BeOS), a high up developer named Bernd Korz claims to have obtained rights to continue development of BeOS. He formed a company called YellowTab, where he sold his product called Zeta. YellowTab ran out of money, so german company Magnussoft agreed to keep paying Bernd Korz to develop it, for the rights to distribute it.

Originally BeOS and all intellectual propery of it was sold to Palm. Palm then spun off a daughter company called Access, who managed the software side of Palm. May of this year, Access went on the record saying that Bernd Korz has no legitimate claim to BeOS and that Zeta was in fact illegal.

Magnussoft dropped Bernd Korz and Bernd erased all of his involvments of Zeta from his website.

The last version released was Zeta 1.5 (which this action was for). One of the more impressive features was Multi-user. Unfortunately it was only on the shelves for a week, then when the Access annoucement came out, all distributers removed it from their inventory. It makes this perticularly rare.

And thanks Sven666. Please check your PM.

Hey, another beos/zeta user on the board, that makes two of us atleast!

I didn't know the story about Access, thank you for the update, even though it means there won't be any improvements in zeta it seems...:(

Do you have any other beos versions or maybe a Bebox perhaps?

Well, Ive never shipped from the outside of the US -> US, but I know domestic shipping on most items Ive shipped is a flat-rate $3.95 Priority mail box. The same item shipped internationally goes up $20+ once it leaves the US, not to mention the length it takes to get through customs.

I have got burned TWICE on shipping outside the US... the package doesnt make it there in the 3 or 4 days that the impatient buyer wants and they get paypal to reverse the transaction (also why I no longer use paypal)
