Need help from somebody in Germany

    Hiya,

    there's something on ebay that I would love to buy but the seller wont ship outside of Germany and doesnt accept Paypal... if anybody from Germany is willing to help I'll gladly give you some cash for your effort! The item ends in little under 24 hours so please hurry :)

    Thanks for your suggestions! However, I also mailed the seller (thought I'd give it a try despite the slim chance) and he agreed shipping to Holland! Now all I need is a way to pay him and I'm all set :smt023

    Antipasta - I've been in the same situation twice before and found that German sellers are really helpful if you stick to German only when writing to them....

    I've used bank transfer which seems really popular in Germany, but it's expensive ~20 UK pounds for transfering ~140 UK pounds....
    (Western Union isn't much better)

    If it's for a relatively small amount then I suspect euros in registered post is the easiest alternative....or hop on a train for 2 days!

    Just mail me if you have problems with payment - i come from germany and also have a PayPal account.

    Bank transfers are free in the EU (at least in Euro countries) - so all you need is the IBAN and SWIFT code of the german seller and you could transfer the money for free and without problems to the german bank account.

    If the german seller doesn't know the IBAN and SWIFT he should ask at his local bank or just take a look at his "Kontoauszug".
