NEED HELP - HD disappeared under Windows XP

Glad everything turned out ok. If I can verify using Linux that the drive is readable, usually I use Clonezilla (free - Linuxed based) to make a disk image, or something like rsync (Linux command) to copy my files out. These days Linux can mount a ridiculous amount of file systems so it's pretty convenient.
