So I have this cartridge switch for five cartridges, but I don't know for which system it is. I got it from a second hand shop, and they didn't know anything about it, and none of my cartridges for my consoles fit. It's kind of weird because the pins are off-centre, and the slots fit a cartridge with the measurements 120x18mm. American SNES carts are just a tad too thick, and the pins don't fit, but other than that it's the closest cartridge I've tried.

The circuit board has a text that says "HES CARD 9405 REVB", but other than that I have nothing to go on.

Assuming this is actually even for a console, what would be the point of it? For a kiosk maybe?

Too big for a Famicom or a Super Famicom.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking.

It seems to be an HES 20 for Vic 20. See example: http://sleepingelephant.com/ipw-web/bulletin/bb/viewtopic.php?t=6233

It looked like an MSX slot expander to me, but that seemed unlikely, since it seems you're in the USA. So then I moved on to other similar old computers with similar expansion boxes. The giveaway was the big pins. Vic 20 has distinctly huge, wide carts.

Amazing eye you've got! This must be it!

I'm not in the USA, I bought an American SNES cart just to test this thing. Now I just need a Vic 20 cart to test this sucker...
