Hi guys. I have a problem. I didnt notice until tonite but when my DS charger is in use on my DS the actual boxish part of the charger makes a highish pitch whining noise and its constant. The DS and charger are less then a month old and I have used it to charge it for most of the time and its never had a problem. Should I call Nintendo and ask them whats up and why its making this odd noise. I know it aint normal lol. I did a google search and found something about a recall back a few years ago on jap units but nothing current and certanly nothing about he DS LITE? Please help me, I no longer feel safe leaving it to charge overnight lol.:crying:
If the whinning is loud and noticable then I would call Nintendo as there is a possibility that a component will fail and your PSU will take up smoking or fireworks.
Yeah, I remember having an old external CD-ROM drive open when I plugged in the wrong PSU - the voltage was right, but I got AC while it should be DC. "Hey, I didn't know there was a LED there" "Oh wait, it's a diode. That explains the pink smoke"
