ok so i have an ethernet cable going from my pc to my XDK and whenever i try to transfer files over to the XDK with a 5 gb file in the middle of putting it on the XDK connection is lost, can someone help me by any chance?
What i do is put xexmenu in the content folder (000000000) of the xdk. Then goto my games on the console boot xexmenu and you can copy your games off a usb stick to the devkit folder. Its so much faster..
Connect the 360 to your network via LAN, then connect to it with neighborhood fro your PC (also on LAN). It's better to use 2 LAN cables instead of 1. Neighborhood also has annoying issues and does its own thing. Sometimes it just errors for no real obvious reason.
but sub folder/sub file dont to exceed 4,5GB....off course a game could be 8GB ....if you try to transfer ONE file up to 4.5 GB like a .mkv movies dont work....
Never use wifi for any transfers. This applies to PS3 (especially ps3), 360, and PCs (i mean if you absolutely had to). There is just not enough reliability to do so wirelessly. Do it over LAN. That and unless I'm mistaken, the wireless attachment doesnt work on XDKs
