My provider just gave me an offer to renew my contract at a very nice discount (40% off monthly costs for the first 12 months), only problem is they gave me a limited selection of phones to choose from. Which would you choose and why ?
Sony Ericsson P1i, why? read some reviews (hint, touchscreen, lots of RAM, SCUMMVM, emulators, Symbian OS UIQ, 3.2 MPixel camera with flash)
As much as i love that phone, the discount deal is only valid with a pre-selected set of phones of which these 3 are the ones that have the features i need.
well i d say the w880i, but there's one tiny problem - the buttons are very tiny (for my fingers at least), which makes typing sms messages a pain sometimes. other than that, it's a clearly superior phone due to form-factor.
Yeah, I'd go with the W880i, so far I've been very satisfied with SE's phones, especially the Walkman series. (however, I find the N95 to be very impressive, and might get it eventually)
The W880i software-wise is very nice - I don't like the skinny form factor though (I feel its a bit feminine) and yes the buttons are too small for fat fingers. Also there is no flash of any kind (LED or Xenon) for the camera. The w580i As far as I can see seems to be pretty similar software-wise to the w880i, except comes with a better keypad - Plus the sidelights are cool in a chavvy kinda way. Again unfortunately no flash on the camera. As for the smasung, I've never liked them so know nothing about them! My choice of the 3 would be the w580i
