    Hey Everyone,

Recently completed a great ebay transaction and got a PlayStation Pepsi kiosk sans TV and stand. Right now I am trying to find the original model tv and and the original stand to go with it.

a.The TV model is a Sony Trinitron kv-m1320
    b. blue stand can be seen in the picture here: http://www.game-rave.com/pepsi_big.bmp

I tried contacting the company who created the display, but they have not replied back yet.

Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

First of all, it might be just my browser but I couldn't see any of your text until I manually highlighted it.

Second congrats on the Pepsi kiosk. It's nice to see someone else interested in restoring these things. The monitor shouldn't be that difficult to find. I would try looking in used TV shops first. If that doesn't turn up anything I guess it's back to ebay. Be prepared to get raped on shipping though.

I fear that the stand will be next to impossible to find. The originals were made of cardboard and as such most were probably destroyed. Most likely your only option is to try to make your own stand.

I am currently waiting for a complete Pepsi kiosk to be delivered. I should have it by Friday. If you need any info (measurements, etc.) let me know.
    I'll be glad to help.

That's cool! If you could, exact measurements of the stand and the TV model would be great, as well, if possible the size of the Pepsi Letters and the circumfrence of the pepsi logo.

And if you ever want to sell the TV and stand, let me know :D

    Thanks! :D

All right, here's a few pics of the actual display.

    First the base.

Note the holes in the top for the feet of the metal stand to fit into.
The measurements at the top are:12 1/4" wide by 18 1/8" deep

The measurements at the floor are: 16" wide by 18 1/8" deep

    The base is 38" tall

As you can see here mine is missing the pepsi logo on the front (compare to your stock photo)

While I can't give you that measurement, The logo on the side is 11"

The Pepsi lettering is 5 1/2" tall

One other thing that isn't in the photo that you linked to is this bracket:

I'm not sure if you need this or not, but is is 19 3/8"tall by 2 1/2" deep. It is 14 5/8" wide.

    The TV model is KV-13M20

Hopefully this info helps. If you need any more LMK.

Oh yeah don't forget to post pics of your finished product.

How sturdy is that thing? Being made out of cardboard I'd give it a life span of about a week, maybe... (In a store that is, being accosted by kids...)

I thought the same thing until I saw it in person. The cardboard is 1/2 " thick. It (the base) is pretty heavy and quite sturdy when set up properly. AFAIK these weren't used in stores. I would guess that they were used for special events only.

Rad, you are , quite literally, RAD. :D
By "metal stand" are you saying it's just the standard PSX Kiosk metal stand under there, or is there something more diabolical that lay beneath? I only have the physical metal middle part with the top cross bar; no TV, stand, or cardboard.

I was just referring to the standard kiosk. The feet on it fit into the holes on the cardboard base.

BTW are you going to try to replicate the cardboard base or are you going to us something sturdier to construct it with?

I'm hopefully going to try and track down the real stuff...If not, maybe try and re-create it. I want it to be as close as possible to the real thing. Granted, school and work are eating up all my time, but it's good to have the info I need when I get the chance to work on it.
