If u can explain this more intricately as i am very interested.
This has peaked my interest so don't skip out on the details.

And when you say "stress test dev kit" that term has been used loosely

"real" stress test kits have a whole in the side of the console pearing into the motherboard, with a serial sticker
    above it.
Here's a picture of jimes, for some reason his is missing that serial, but w/e it still gets the point across.

you could be referring to just a sidecar-less dev kit with a loom. wich most people consider stress test kits. I dont, but thats besides the point.

    just explain, what? how?

Has that been proven for a fact? Have you seen a kit directly from Microsoft that was like that? One of my first DEV was like that.

Everyones full of fail, back on topic. I tried patching with xextool the newest version. It either hung or patched but then blackscreened when I ran it.

The end, may have to do it by hand =/

no, i put quotes on it to emphasize tone, when i said "real" i was more-so referring to an opinion. that's completely regardless.

Fact? that's a good question, what i consider "stress test kits" are what i showed, the other kits however seem to be called different things by different people, that's why i said the term "stress test kit" is loosely used, so when someone says stress test kit, i don't always know what there referring to.

What i was asking was, does your "stress test kit" Have a gaping whole in the bottom left side of the case.

godd you guys get soo snippy, somebody says one little thing and people jump on it like white on rice. Is every scene like this?

You really told me man. Wow glad you use your kit for everything. You must be proud of your non hdmi stress test kit that is super cool because of the fans. Speaking of that if lllsondowlll has a jasper proto why would he turn his fans up, one of the two aren't making since. Processing faster does that mean it gets hotter? And to think this whole time I thought RROD was caused by heat. And you mean I can't run the fan flashing xex thingy on my jtag, man I must of got super lucky when I got it run on my xbr. As for the actually question at hand, burning it to a disc would probably be your best bet, be sure to modify the xex with gamehack first, but you probably already know that. You'll still have to patch the tu for dev most likely. By the way where did you get all this vast knowledge of devs I would like to do some reading about the lower rrod chances.

Sorry this was just to resistible.

My board has 3 giant heat syncs and I still keep my fans amped up for preservation. Stop the idiotic bickering guys and either help or go elsewhere. Shit is getting old. I can nitpick Gman's posts all day and I can prove 14x differen't logical ways that devkits are far superior to kernel patches but I'm not here to do that. Get on topic.

THREAD CLOSED DUE TO POINTLESS BICKERING.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, keep it technical.
