Need help with generic SCART cables. How do you remove the wires and access the pins?

Hello fellow modders and tinkerers, as I have said in a different thread I started, I found SCART cables at a local thrift store here in the USA. I decided to open the cables up so I can use them for some projects.

Upon opening the SCART plug's hood, I discovered that the solder end of the pins are not easy to get to and are inside this plastic block. The wires appear to be connected by some type of crimp-on connection and not soldered on.

My question is how do you remove these wires so I can get to the pins to make my own SCART cables? Any and all help would be highly appreciated! Here are some pics for reference:

Those wires are crimped on that one so even if you got the pins out, you would need to get new pins for you cable. Just cut the wires to where you have enough room to attach your new cable.

I saw a tool in RadioShack the other day and it said it was designed for removing pins from d-sub connectors that looked very similar to this cable's connector. I don't know if it would work for this though.

My Dad told me to just cut the wires so I may do that as a last resort.

you would still need new pins to crimp on the wires. I doubt you would be able to find the right ones.
