Need help with PS2 modchip ( M-3)

    So, I have a dead PS2, that I took apart. It has the M-3 modchip and the PS2 is a SCPH 50008 V9. Can I use this modchip for other PS2 consoles? Like the SCPH 3000x series ? Or even the PS2 slims?
