I've recently aquired a Sharp X68000. I was able to use the system for about an hour and then the psu smoked up.

So I would like to replace the psu with a slim ATX model. I found this useful repair guide:
    http://nfggames.com/nfg/x68repair/

I already bought an invertor ic and the 4.7k ohm resistor. However I'm not sure if I have the correct invertor ic. The chip is labeled as follows:

    SN74LS04N
    Motorola J8508

Do I have the correct invertor ic?

Next I would like to buy an ATX psu which fits into the case of the Sharp X68000. I won't use the empty space for an hdd, so there should be enough room. Does anyone has a hint for a good and cheap slim-atx psu?

    I only found this one:

It would be very nice if someone could answer my questions as I'm really new to this. Thanks.

it worked:nod: The Sharp X68000 is back to live.

Unfortunately I have a problem with disk drive 1 now. It does not eject the disk which was in the drive as the original psu smoked up.

The disk drive 1 loads the disk fine, but I cannot eject it anymore. What can I do to fix this problem?

I already switched power cables to ensure that it's not the cable. I also switched the eject button cables, but both doesn't help.

ok, I manually spinned the small motor on the left and the disk plopped out. When I reinserted the disk, the motor switched on and put the disk back in its lock position. So the motor seems to be ok.

When I push the eject button the big motor spins up for a second and I can hear the reading head but nothing else happens.

ok, disk drive 1 is fully working now. But I have a new problem: The system switches off randomly. Probably too less power?
