I just bought an N-gage (original model) for 70 bucks from gamestop, and I have a few questions (if someone can answer me soon, or AIM at ddp72984, I appreciate it, cause I want to go for parts in the morning) 1. I had to put the battery back in and let it charge, the thing is that after 2 and a half hours, the meter stopped flashing and solidfied, as soon as I unplugged the Charger, the N-gage died. When I plug the charger in, it says NOKIA, lights up, and stays there, is there a menu or something that pops up? Is there a button to press? Do I let it charge more? If the battery is dead, what is the exact name of a replacement one? 2. What is the total that I can save on the system itself? 3. I want to do the NES emulator on there, as well as MP3, but I'm guessing I'm gonna need a Memory Card, what is the name of exact memory card (like at a Circuit City) I need, and how do I do this? Thanks again
1. Not sure about this exactly, sorry, 2. about 3mb 3. You need a Multimedia Card - Often abbreviated to MMC. If you are in the UK look at www.mobymemory.com. Get a 128mb card minimum. Also, theres a damn good mega drive emulator available for the system too - Called picodrive. I'd check it out. Hope that helps
Hi, 1. If I understand correctly the meter stopped flashing because is the indication that the battery is fully charged. It is not necessary let it charge more, N-Gage battery doesn't have the memory effect. 2. Yes, about 3 mb, just remember not to fill the internal memory or you will have the "memory full" problem and probably it will not boot up. Is better to install apps, games etc at the MMC. 3. Yes, you need a Multimedia Card (MMC). You can buy MMCs of 128, 256, 512mb or even 1gb.
to question number 1.... PRESS THE ON BUTTON!!!! (PRESS AND HOLD).... Then go and read the manual.. and dont give me that it dint come with it.. its on the nokia site...
