Need NeoGeo MB Repair !

    I have a high serial US NeoGeo. This one display a solid red screen, which mean a video ram error. I am not able to change these chips, because error may come from other chips around and I can't diagnosis the issue.

    If a guy wants to repair it. I will pay the components, shipping and also the work of this nice guy :nod:. But, the price must does not exceed the one of a "new" NeoGeo.

    Why don't you send it to an arcade repairer? Even if looks like an easy fix, without spare SNK parts it'd be hard for someone to guarantee success. Did you try fixing it yourself? Reflowing the joints on the LSPC and 62256 pads could be all you need.

    Channelmaniac on the neo geo forums does stuff like this. He can fix anything, period. Great guy, and his work is impeccable.

    I do flat rate repairs on Neo Geo MVS and AES systems.

    $35 for non-surface mount repairs
    $40 for surface mount repairs

    Top boards on multi-board stacks are done by time/materials
    Doesn't include slot connectors or batteries.
    Plus shipping.

    If you look at my repair logs site (link in signature) you'll see that I specialize in MVS/AES repairs.
