If someone has the time and ability to measure an obi, and make it as a .psd file it would be amazingly helpful.
I am not very competent with photoshop and the like, but I can provide some samples of Dreamcast obis. I scanned some of them ages ago for a project and I still got the high-quality scans (I think it was 300dpi or so), just as a guideline. http://img11.imageshack.us/img11/4173/spines1.png
Do you want just a blank obi or an actual giest force one? I can throw an obi together in about 20 minutes or a blank one in a few minutes if needed. I'm at the detist with my son right now so it will have to wait until later though. Yakumo
Great job! You even included the original serial that Sega wanted it to have (I just checked out of curiosity^^) - HDR-0008
The only thing that's not real information on it is the memory card save blocks. It may not even save anything
If you're printing, you want it to be 300dpi at correct size, 3mm bleed in CMYK. BTW Yakumo, the numbers on the barcode correspond to the bars. That layout is for one specific product - it would still read without the numbers, they're just for human benefit. If you really wanted to do it, you could work out what barcode format they used (UPC-A, perhaps?), find an unused code and use a barcode generator.
The one ASSEMbler was given is 300dpi with RGB colour but hecan easily convert it to CMYK if need be  Yes, I know that. I was just being funny. The bar code if scanned will come up with Soul Calibur Yakumo hehehe, thanks.
Converting RGB to CMYK is not so preferable, though, as you'll get colour shifts. In particular, blues and blacks can be affected. I've seen some pretty muddy purples and dull greens, too. That said, it's better that you convert it to CMYK to your taste than have the printer do it - that's a recipe for disaster, unless you have a really patient printer who doesn't mind colour matching swatches for you!
