I highly doubt it, seeing as konbini's are always very, very strict about what's in stock so if it's no longer sold they won't have it.
I remember seeing Pepsi Shiso in a supermarket being sold off for 50yen a can, as it was disgusting I am not surprised it was so cheap and available many months after it was discountinued...
Cherry Vanilla Pepsi was released worldwide as far as I know. I don't know where you're located, but we had it here in the states during the summer. I still have a bunch of cans of the diet variety because I bought a 12 pack and hated it. EDIT - here's a quick picture of a can I just took with my webcam (sorry for quality) According to the bottom this can expired Aug 23, 2010 So, you could probably find these in discount groceries that sell scratch and dent and recently expired product.
I'm in Poland, we don't get any new products here. heck, to get vanilla coke I need to go to ukraine. And they only sell 1L cherry coke here (which I'm addicted to). So as you see, it's not that easy.
