I just got my hands on a 360 elite and having been a sony / nintendo dude for a very long time. Would like to add some good Xbox / 360 games to my collection. I like platforms, RPGs and Action games. I have gotten halo and blinx till now. Can you recomend some good games please? (BTW i hate oblivion / morrowind im more of a story driven FF dude) thanks in advance
Gears of War Lost Odyssey Skate <---- most addicting game ive played in a long time. The Darkness <--- not the best game out there but an AMAZING storyline Unreal Tournament 3 Ninja Gaiden Black and/or Ninja Gaiden 2 Thats it for now, im sure more will pop into my head later.
^Skate is REALLY fun. As far as the original Xbox goes, you need Panzer Dragoon Orta and Phantom Dust.
I think if you hate stuff like morrowind you won't like this...I can't stand this game, just got it last week or two ago. Panzer Dragoon Orta Oddworld Halo 1 and 3, maybe 2 Conker Dead or Alive MGS2 Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance Ninja Gaiden Silent Hill 2 Condemned The Darkness Crackdown Dead Rising Gears of War Tomb Raider Legend Lost Oddesey Kameo Viva Pinata Dreamfall etc
KOTOR....I'm not much of a fan of KOTOR. The dialog options are awful, you're either a saintly man who gives poor people the clothes on his back or an asshole punk. The neutral road is kind of neat, but hard to maintain. I thought it was really boring and linear, unlike other WRPGs like Morrowind and Oblivion. By the way, saying Morrowind isn't story driven means all you did was fuck around. Oblivion on the other hand...
re oblivion / morrowind what i meant was that they are to sandbox based for my liking to open ended. I keep worrying that Im missing out on good stuff when I do certain quests in a certain way etc..
I hate oblivion on xbox... but thats probably because I play the pc version (which is infinitely better) Make sure that you get panzer dragoon orta, jet set radio future, halo 1, and Psychonauts.
Man... if someone didn't get all teary eyed during the ending, then they just don't have a soul. :-( That was just one roller coaster of emotions.
