Around 2 or so years ago, I bought a B&W wonderswan off ebay with one free game. When it arrived, a wierd Digimon game came with it. Quite honestly, I don't know the deal with it. It's in full english, cartriage is good quality, and seems to be well made. isn't there TV anime series called Digimon or something? probably based on that series... much like Pokemon? cheers
I don't think it is a bootleg...I recall reading somewhere...awhile back about a Digimon wonderswan game that was completely in English...But...this is just from memory, so...anyone else wanna chime in?
there are actually 2 English Digimon games for the WonderSwan - the mentioned "Digimon Ver. WonderSwan" and "Digimon Anode & Cathode Tamer (Veedramon Version)" (or something like that). The first one is a Tamagotchi-like game where you buy a Digitama (Digimon egg), raise it, etc. The other one is some kind of RPG where you run around an overworld, fight enemy Digimon in dungeons with your own, capture such enemy Digimon, etc... the weakest of the Digimon RPGs on WonderSwan in my opinion... (and yeah, i do like Digimon - flame me if you want )
