Im looking for a cheap USB based Eprom programer to make some home brew repros of NES and GEN that I want. I saw in other thread someone mentioning a name of a cheap one but I dont fins the thread. If anyone can help I appreciate. It was something with TOP and a number.
its $98 But if you want to go the cheapy TOP route... TOP853 is the cheap one. the rest are in the same price range as the GQ-4X
You can make your own ISP with an Arduino. It's a lot of hard work, but that's what you have to do in order to save money. If you don't have the skills to make such a device, then you will have to get someone or ask someone you know with a programmer to do it for you.
Yes. Tell me the chips you want to program and I'll find you the adapter. But its probably just this one: http://www.mcumall.com/comersus/store/comersus_viewItem.asp?idProduct=4289
I want to cover as many chips as I can. Looks like the GQ-4X plus the board you linked to will do the trick. Do I just use the software that is provided with the GQ-4X? Do I need to use something different if i am burning 27C322 chips?
