I only ever owned one cab, a Tekken 2 cab just like in the pic.

Tested it when I bought it from the owner, drove it home and the monitor must have broken in transit. I had at least two cowboy electricians look at it but it never kicked back into life. I would suggest hunting out a local arcade technician - if possible - or someone who really knows what they're doing. I don't know much about monitors myself but I would imagine it's simply at the end of its days, that's what it felt like with mine....

On a more positive note, the cab eventually ended up in the Google (UK) London offices, and I sold the Tekken 2 board for about the price of the cab so I made my money back in the end. :)

    Good luck either way.

Might have found the problem with the monitor. The problem is the RGB dials that adjust how much of each color is displayed look screwed up and snapped (Not to mention, in a stupid and dangerous place which would be right behind the neck)

It could be one of the color drive transistors on the neck board. Check out this video for how to test and remedy that issue if that is the case.

Edit: Here's a link to his channel. He has a lot of great and informative videos about arcade repair and maintenance in general and has the best set of monitor repair videos that I was able to find without just being about general CRT design and theory.
