Need Wii info ASAP...

Hey Guys

My nieces are coming to town and I wanted to pick up a Wii for them. But...they're staying in a hotel that has wireless internet but no wired connection. I wanted to bring to Wii over new.

Do I need some kind of download before we can start playing the Wii? Or will it play out of the box? I don't want to bring it over and find out we can't play it...

any wii should be compatible with a range of 802.11b/g routers. It supports WPA and WEP encryptions.

I say that 80% or more, you should be fine.

 

But will it connect to a wiresless hotel room signal? And do I even need it to?

 

It'll work 100% fine offline, but if you want to buy stuff from the store, it uses WPA or WEP encryption.
