Needing help with a ps3 blu-ray

I am having trouble with a 400aaa drive. It won't pull in a game and when I fire up a game like dcuo off the hard drive I have to hit the eject button in order to fire it up. What I did recently was I bought a drive off ebay and just swamped over the drive board like I knew I needed to. But what do you know it starts to do the same thing as the other drive. It make a high pitched squealing noise and it looks like it tries to spine a gear but it don't. How I know what it is doing is by holding the eject button after I power up the machine. Any help or guidance is much appreciated. Sorry if I am not clear I am tired and having trouble focusing. if you need anything more from me like pics or vids I will take one to show.

 

Could be that the drive mechanism needs re-setting. Often happens if the machine has been taken apart or the disk taken out incorrectly. all the little plastic bits have to be in the right place ir it jams. also there is a piece of plastic on the left with "teeth" on it that often gets stuck. Had this issue with a couple of machines and fixed them fine. There is a great YouTube video which explains it really well
