I wanted to know if I am having issue with my 120 in one card or my MVS, I am running a MV-1F board, I have most games on the card works, but I have about 15 that have issues and they are not the hacks. Im looking for someone that also has this card to see if they also have the issue. here are some pics of what Im seeing. If you know of a fix or should I just send it back to the person I bought it from. https://www.dropbox.com/sc/xj5o8abp155t684/AAAh1mAwoJLOg4P0d-iu4Lcca
Do you have any real games that don't work as expected? Those games should work as normal. Open up the cart, clean all the contacts and looks for damaged traces. Most importantly, buy official games
I have an MV-F1 board; replaced it with an MV1A, because of stability issues. The MV-F1 board worked fine with authentic MVS carts and any multi-cart combination that was 100-in-1 or less. For some reason, my 120 and 160-in-1 carts would reboot to the beginning of the any game that I was playing; it was sporadic. On occasion I would get glitchy graphics as per your pics, but then the game would restart from the beginning. I tried a BIOS swap, but that did not resolve the problems I was having. I even ran the NEO Diagnostic BIOS, but it did not find any problems with my MV-F1 board. I thought there was something wrong with the 120/160-in-1 carts, but they play fine in other boards - couple of MV1A's that I have... So, for me it was not the carts, but some compatibility issue with these multi-carts and the MV-F1 board. So, I pulled my MV-F1 and I'm currently using an MV-1A with a 120-in-1 without any issues. Sorry I don't have a "fix" for you, but thought I'd share my experiences with that F1 board and those higher capacity carts. Do you have access to another cab that has a different board; so you could try that cart and see if you can replicate those same problems? That would be one way to troubleshoot the cart. If you have problems with it... then I would question the cart and definitely touch base with the seller. If it plays without any issues, then I would say your cart is fine and it just doesn't play well with the MV-1F board. *********** Updating with corrections - lost thread by Majestic_Lizard The board I was referring to above as MVS-F1; should of been MVS-1F. Majestic _Lizard's thread questioned and gave an explanation that the MVS-1F would not perform with said problems as I described them. Majestic_Lizard was correct. I checked my board - it was an MVS -1. I own several boards; I thought I had an MVS-1F, it is actually an MVS-1 that was having problems playing 120/160 all in one carts.
