    Hello,
I recently bought on yahoo auction "working" AES console. When it come to me, when powering up, I got sound, but no video ...

When I powered up console without cartdridge, got black screen..

What should I do now, throw it to trash :) or trying repair capacitors, or other thing?

    Thanks for help,
    Mark.

Check your video cable and display first. The easiest thing would be trying a different display. Also check your power supply and be certain it is the correct power supply. You also may want to try a different cartridge or you may need to clean the cartridge.

If the seller sold you a complete 'working' set of console + game cartridge + audio/video cable + power supply and it doesn't work you should contact the seller about it. If it included everything but a game then perhaps the game you are trying is just in need of cleaning.

When you first turn it on are you getting any sort of flicker on the screen, or just completely blank?

A little bit flicker, and nothing more.
I opened console and one part of motherboard have some bad signs...

I read on other forum, that this chip: Sony CXA1145P and 2 resistors should provide RGB video .. Maybe this corrosion disable those parts and it must be replaced?

At least you need to clean that stuff first, check traces, capacitors, resistors etc. with a multimeter and reflow all solder joints there.

call seller out on it first and get at least a partial refund.
