Do you mean AES as in the symmetrical key encryption/decryption method?

EDIT: Wow, didn't see the "Neo" infront of AES.

Both will be very hard to get. I've only heard of two Neo people with copies of MVS schematics and one guy with the dev manual. I almost got a copy of the schematics but he didn't come through in the end :\

Would be pretty cool to have some of these documents available.

That he likely knows who has one, I gather, but can't tell because the person doesn't want to be bothered.

I don't think it would be too hard to figure out. Just look for the more technically minded/well known people in the Neo Scene, I guess...but then again...the people who seem to have the rarest stuff seem to be the most rarely seen Neo people.

Pioneer in modding the Neo, though? JMKurtz? He's contributed a lot to Neo modding. Wouldn't surprise me if he had some interesting stuff. (Or do I have to think harder?)

*Ding ding* the other is Nightmare Tony, who IIRC used to work for SNK as a repair technician. Jeff once stated on N-G a while ago that he'd give away poor quality MVS schematics he had copies of, in order for someone to clean up and make public, which of course I was up for. He didn't want to be compensated for the schematics and I guess had a change of heart because he didn't send them and stopped replying to my emails :icon_bigg I guess it'll be up to him if and when they're available online.

Well, if you can convince Jeff Kurtz, just let me know. You don't even have to have him put them in the mail. I live about 20 minutes from him (well, if his Neo-Geo.com location is correct, anyway). Would be an interesting person to meet.

Jeff's a good bloke. I haven't spoken to him for some time, but I helped him out when he was developing a mod many moons ago. I might have a word with him at some point, I'd certainly be interested in seeing them.

Please do! With the large amount of ASICs in the Neo, schematics are invaluable if just for the signal names.

Well it appears that some more people have the schematics, probably from Jeff, but aren't talking either :) I dunno why all the secrecy now so I'm thinking of tracing an AES... I really hope someone does release the MVS schematics though.
