Neo Geo AES game slot repair

Hi, I have a Japanese AES system with the 3.2 unibios and the game slot on the system needs replaced. Is they're anybody in the USA that offers this service that can replace the game slot with a new one? I also, have the Phantom-1 mvs converter and I can't get the system to play it. I was told that the system needs a new game slot.

 

hi mega , i don't know anyone who can do the repair but NeoStore has the AES Slots for sale. If you can find someone who can desolder/solder well you can pickup the Slots and get them to do the transplant.

Yeah I saw the slots for sale, but I really need someone that can do it I had it done, years ago by a place in Canada, but I don't remember who it was

Don't doubt yourself!

Using some 60/40 lead solder to reflow the pins before you desolder them will make it a bit easier
