I never owned one and I don't see the point in one but that's a great place to start!

The Neo Geo is neck in neck in neck with the PC Engine and SNES for best Console ever

Whatever, probably unanimously viewed as the best arcade platform, but console? Pshhh

It is nice to finally know the MVS release dates, hope a lot more content is added soon.

Great site. I'm going to have a full read of that later on tonight. It's nice to see a Neo Geo museum.

Very nice. The MVS is probably the greatest arcade hardware ever: awesome variety of good games and still affordable. :)

Just a pity there doesn't seem to be much in the way of any content, still it's not the 20th aniversary until the end of april so maybe they will add more content...

Who cares? It's not like there's ever been a game with a story line that goes beyond the "bad action movie"/"cliched anime" level.

Anyway, the Neo site looks good, but there's barely any content: even the games museum is just a list, pretty disappointing.

    Deja Vu?

    Monkey Island?

    Sam and Max?

What? I think you missed my point. The Neo Geo was not best home console, but it was a fantastic arcade piece.

I love my neo to death but simply because of the lack of variety I wouldn't put it over the SNES or other consoles.

Neo games were almost all designed for instant pick up and play, with good reason - it was an arcade.

The SNES allowed for a more varied game genres. You can't play an RPG in the arcade, you can't play zelda in the arcade for example.

    Thats what i was saying.
