Bought this 4 Slot MVS about a year ago, it was dirty and smelling like 1000 year old anus. So i cleaned it up and gave the tatty looking shield/cover a coat of paint!
(Before anyone points it out, I realise that the slot numbers are in the wrong direction to the stickers, thats how i wanted it, so the JAMMA connector is at the rear)

I use it with a Vogatek Mk4 Supergun (S-Video & Seperate Audio, Not as good as RGB, but still good quality) and a Neo Geo CD controller, hooked up to the onboard controller port. The Vogatek is powered by a 60w PICO PSU.

Nice work, that top cover looks really good. You should find some thick red plastic to mount it on to, just to finish it off.

    Spiffy!

You know Vogatek makes models with SCART output, right? I have a Mk.II I think, and it's served me well these past several years. Only problem is it freaks the fuck out if I don't have something plugged into both controller ports. If I leave either of them unplugged, the board acts as if random buttons are being pressed rapidly. This is a recent problem, it didn't always do that. I guess I need to get a new one.

Yup Mk3 is the SCART only version. No video encoder or controller ports period. (you have to manually wire up controls if your MVS board doesn't have them)

The 2/4/6 Slot MVS systems don't play nice with some Vogatek's as they are not standard JAMMA. I have got the Mk4 as it's compatible. The Video/Sound quality is great!
