Hi guys, recently I bought a brand new copy of King of The Fighters R-1 for the monochrome Neo Geo Pocket. I was surprised to see that the text on both the game, box and manual to be in english (well, snkenglish). I was under the impression that the monochrome was only released in Japan and some parts in Asia. Text on the manual is only in english, but the warnings (the first pages of the manual) are in english, spanish and german. There are no references to an european distributor. So was it released in Europe? Are all the monochrome games available in english? Are these complete games hard to find? Have not found one on Ebay. KOF R-1 got a PAL release over here but no US as far as I know. I never see it complete now though... maybe its rare without being particularly sought after, so you could perhaps pick it up cheap sometime? I dont really know its value, though. Samurai Shodown (first one) was another ngp game that was PAL/JP but no US release... not sure about others though. I think Pocket Tennis? But not sure.. sold my NGP stuff a long long time ago.
