this is an edited selling thread (I have recently secured a deal for an xbox so now I'm after shump' else

I have a neo geo home cart system - no box or manual - excellent condition, low serial number (ensures the best possible rgb/scart image - by far the best systems) 04XXXX.
works like a charm. Its a PAL unit (as in it was made for the european region), but any half assed tech can convert it to ntsc. all the hookups present.
    looking for 210 dollars shipped

I also have 2 games - Metal Slug 1 and Metal Slug 2 AES conversions (they are made using 100% authentic SNK parts - internally its basically the arcade MVS cart made to work on AES). They where made by Deffty who is by far one of the best in the biznis ( http://deffty.com/ ). They are in near mint condition (that means they'll make you swoon).
    180 dollars per game

520 dollars for the whole bundle or partial trade for something cool (kind of looking for an Atomiswave motherboard+older game, but I'll consider other goodies).

    cheers.

edited the thread. by the way - the conversions don't come with manuals - they seldom do (some people make custom-made ones though)

what's that? you want it for 510 dollars? well ok then! take it.

I'm looking for something around that ball park. I'm willing to sell or trade individual items for reasonable offers.

    Let's have it then.

can you find out the rough estimate for shipping to Sydney inc. insurance?
basically need to find out whether there is much difference between EMS and insured air pacel to Sydney AU.

if it's reasonable I will see where I can draw some find from...

    cheers

sure thing. will let you know as soon as I find out.

by the way - would you be after the system or the whole package?

off hand EMS to Australia for the whole thing (5 kilo+ package) would be around 100 dollars, so I could do everything for 560 dollars shipped. not cheap.

    ok

just wondering, are you looking for anything else in particular to get money off the total of these games (besides the atomicwave set thing)

also, you say the unit is the PAL version, while I already have a NTSC one, so would the games work on it perfectly or not?

    thanks

is that surface shipping? I don't think you can get insurance for that - and airmail allows only upto 2kg packages.. so it'd mean multiple packages. man this is turning out to be impossible. I just wish rates wheren't so rificulously high.

    ok

It probably wont compare to the Australian guy's above, but I had wanted to sell these gamecube imports. (all are complete)

    RoboCop only released in Japan
Sonic Mega Collection (japanese version has 2 extra games)
(SEALED) Metal Gear Twin Snakes Platinum Edition (only included with the MGS bundle in Japan, so about 1 out of 1000 copies)

along with these, I thought I can throw some cash (paypal that is) your way.

if you interested, or decided what else you are looking for? (rare imports, or rare USA games cause it seems you are in the UK right?)

    give me a reply thanks

    Re: ok

thanks for the offer mate but I'm not currently looking for those - maybe if you had the Metal Gear Solid bundle.. or maybe an import Dreamcast with the latest shooters. but really, I'm after money or an Atomiswave (which is a Sammy arcade board).

    mate
yes that would be surface shipping.
in any case the shipping seems to be too complicated and really can't afford EMS. :(

as much as I love the lot it's either too risky via surface or too expensive via EMS... guess I will have to pass rather reluctantly I'm afraid... :smt022

    cheers

you're right. I'd like to offer you a better deal but shipping costs are so lousy - if the whole thing weighs less than 5k there is a chance I could ship the whole thing out for about 530 dollars (which would be cheap as each item would be at 150 dollars). But the thing is, I think it weighs more.
