Yesterday I found these at Goodwill for $5.49. The controller is a neon green N64 controller, the memory card is an odd one, it had 4 switches on the back of it. I can't find any info about the memory card. Maybe it's from another country?
The controller is an Extreme Green Nintendo 64 Controller lovely by the way. The memory card is basically a 3rd party card with 4x memory cards built into one. Very good find though as the controllers range between 20 - 90 and were also bundled in a toys r us N64 bundle and also sold separate.
Awesome. Yeah I was pretty happy with the purchase. I saw the controller sitting there in a case next to a bunch of leapster games and thought it looked unusual, I decided I had to get it just of because how cool the neon color looked
Ah I own one of these sexy controllers bought two for $50 or maybe $40 can't remember. Good find for $6 man!
Nice find on the controller The memory card is probably an Interact one as ASSEMbler pointed out, I have one and it's just like that, though mine has been loyal and never failed.
I have the extreme green controller, it's in pieces because the circuit inside was ruined but the shell is intact. I just need to find an ugly but working N64 controller to swap the board. Cool color. Throw away that memory card. I'm not fond of any N64 memory card that uses switch. Very few games need it anyway as most still uses internal cart saves.
I think I remember seeing that controller in Nintendo Power. I forgot about those colors, especially when it was purple for me, as it came packed in with the N64 system that I had.
Wouldn't mind getting a few extreme greens myself. My brother has two from when we were kids as my mom shopped often at Toys R Us.
As others have said that's the extreme green controller. It's probably the rarest of all the "Funtastic" N64 controllers simply because it was a Toys R Us exclusive. For $5 that's a great find consider how good condition its in. Personally I'd keep it but you could get a decent amount on ebay for it.
Huh, I had no idea the Extreme Green color was that sought after. That's been my primary N64 controller since I first grabbed one in the late 90s.
