UPDATE - In this review I forget to mention that the NeoSD has a Jukebox function that is accessed by pressing start on the "Launch Current Game" option at the top of the menu screen. I have since updated my Neo Geo ROM set to include every game (Not including bootlegs and hacks) which brings the total memory size up to 4.5GB. Twice as what I stated in the video. Sorry about that.

It's very tempting. The load times are definitely a downside particularly when put up against those multi-carts that give you instant access. Any reason you didn't show how long a game like King of Fighters 2000 takes to load? I think that one is pretty much at the maximum memory capacity.

No reason to be honest. I just went with Art of Fighting 3 as it was an average sized "big" game.

Homebrews aside, did you have a problem converting the MAME roms for use with it? Seems like 7/10 came out bad for me and wouldn't start.

Could you test that and just post the time it takes to load KoF 2000 or another maximum sized game? Just curious what the worst case time actually would be.

Nice review, never actually looked at this since I've bought a Darksoft MVS multi and have been pretty happy with it. Interface looks different, but nice as well. Just loading seems kinda slowish on the NeoSD. The micro SD slots are always a bit finnicky in my experience, you just have to be lucky with those and hope they don't break.

At first but I've since got all the roms working. I had to search for good rom sets.

Took 3m 8s for KOF 2000 to flash on my AES cart. I imagine the MVS one is similar.
