Sacrilegious or ingenious – you decide…(personally I love it) Find out how to make one for yourself here; http://www.instructables.com/id/Nintendo-controller-into-a-PC-card-reader/
Either the cards are upside down to not show the makers of the cards or someone buggered up. It's too big too be that useful, you want most card readers to be small and you are more likely to want them to be built in.
Doesnt look that useful, too bulky. But then again I never was a fan of the NES controller design. Personally I use a tiny card reader: It's about a third of the size of a NES controller.
I'd like to see someone mod the controller to be a flash drive... (or maybe mod a NES Advantage to be an external RAID array...)
How about this: somebody mod a card reader to be an NES pad! Or: modify a monkey to be a toaster-oven. I'd buy one.
a) Not enough card options b) Not useful as a joypad - a bit more thought would solve it. So I'm out.
I'll try to remember to pick up a NES pad at the local flea market this weekend and put a 4GB microdrive in it... Then it'll atleast be kind of worth dragging around.
i guess it looks cool, but then you realize the time will come when these dont exsits anymore..so sacrilegious
I saw it about a year ago in a NES modding website (I think it's offline now), but yeah, it looks cool
Don't be silly, don't ruin a classic piece of hardware with it's lovely sleek lines by sticking an ipod in it. :110:
