NES dev carts?

    Didn't Brian Provinciano (www.bripro.com) made one that looked quite like these?
    And there were lots of makeshift development solutions floating around (and actively used) during the NES era, so it might also be one of these.

    Interesting... it looks like either a professional or homebrew (but very cleanly done) programming kit for the NES.

    Everything there could have been made from off-the-shelf parts. There is: an EPROM writer, some kind of bridge board for the writer, a NES cart that uses CHR-RAM (1 EPROM socket), and 2 others that use both CHR and PRG ROM. The one on the right may be a simpler mapper, and the one in the middle may be more complex, or vice-versa. The one in the middle seems to have switches for mirroring or other on-the-cart settings.

    I don't see any windows on those ROMs so they may be small EEPROMs or flash or...

    well.. it's really over prices atleast.. I think the real cost of something like that is under 100$...
    and he wants 500$ o_O
