I do actualy have a possibe donner NES here, this 'donner' nes has problems with none of the pad ports working have tried cleaning contacts and reflowing solder on the pin connections and even removing the zener diodes on the path that go to the input buffers but didnt seem to help, so i guess i can use the SRAM chip from this NES.

Whats the SRAM chip labeled as and the actual location please?

The SRAM chip aligned to the CPU side is marked "WRAM" (Work RAM). The other I don't remember but I think it's marked "VRAM".

Non working pad ports are actually quite repairable. You might want to replace the 74HC368 chips ...

Ok i have noticed that the WRAM and VRAM chips on the 2 NES's are different size, or though there are solder holes to accommodate both size ram chips on both NES's is it ok to inter change them?

The larger VRAM chip is labeled LH5216-12 and the thinner VRAM chip is LH5116D-15

Any SRAM compatible with 6116 will fit there. Regardless of being thin or large if it's 6116 type it will work just fine. Just obey the markings printed on the board.
