I have this faulty NES here which doesn't display all sprites/layers. I know they were using the wrong ac with it. It was 800ma rather than 850ma. I know stronger ones don't really matter but if it's short on current it can damage the system.

Yo can see a picture of the game joined.

    Any ideas guys?

Hmm. If the board looks clean then the safest best is either one of the vram chips or the PPU have gone.
Id start woth vram. An easy (but not fool proof) plan is to see if they get hotter than other chips. Might inidicate it failed.
