NES Region Modding?

    Hi guys,

    As an experienced SNES modder, I want to delve into the world of NES modding to expand my horizons. What's the current state of NES region modding? I am referring mainly to the console itself. I know about the "lifting pin 4 of the CIC" mod, but I've heard this doesn't have 100% compatibility - is this true? Is there an equivalent to the SNES SuperCIC available for the console? I've heard about something called the CIClone, but I can't find any information on it or whether it's designed to work as a lock/key/both.

    Just looking for some help to get me started.

    Just lift the pin and play your games. With this method i had no problem with any game.

    Same Pin lifting never causes me issues. actually fixed an issue where any game couldnt load cause the security crap, have fun man
