Hey there you guys! Long time no see! I was googling, trying to learn more about RGB for the NES, we all know that the NESRGB boards is what you want. After some research, I feel upon this link : http://www.retrovideogamer.co.uk/index.php?topic=2646.0 Here is my question: Is it possible to get a even better RGB picture via a THS7314 Chip combined with the NESRGB? That's all for now! Thanks - Madsmaten
THe THS7314 Chip Is an amp, it amplifys and cleans weak rgb signals, that being said the nes doesn't produce an rgb signal from its ppu. Because the nes's ppu doesn't produce rgb, you have two options: use pc10 ppu(has compatibility issues with games and color is crap) or install nesrgb board which is the best option. Kevtris is currently building a hdmi nes board and its should be finished in a few months, I'd say wait for that.
I'll definetly wait for that! I've read somewhere that there would come a HDMI board, for N64 as well?
