    Hi!

I live in europe and wanna use the best of two worlds.

Would it be possible to (via a switch) change the PPU/CPU/crystal to PAL and NTSC versions and vice versa?

Should this be possible, the only thing other than RF that is different between PAL and NTSC are CPU/PPU/crystal clock-speed?

Is there any method for switching so many contact-points at once?

Is there any chip that can handle 2x40 connections, or maybe less. The PPU/CPU might stay "online" all the time (Vcc&GND always on)

You could maybe use the reset line on the cpu, have both cpus wired together other than the reset line. Then a switch there to enable or disable it.

PPU has a chip select line that should work in similar fashion.

Would seem better than trying to switch all the lines, assuming it works. A nes dev thread says the cpu goes high z when held in reset. Could be other reasons why it won't work, but I'm no nes expert.
