Sorry if any of this is lacking or I come across as a noob. I have just recently started taking apart and attempting to repair consoles and I have lots to learn. I have been trying to get my top loader nes working. it is getting no video on either channel 3 or 4. I have cleaned the board and inspected for damage but it look immaculate. I have tested that it is getting power by using a voltmeter to test hitting the solder points in the image below. Im not sure where to go next with my troubleshooting. Is there a way test if my problem is the video cable without getting a new cable? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

    Try another RF adapter first.

someone else may chime in and let you know some other ideas, but I would try a different RF adapter first.

It was the rf adapter. I was able to get it working by tinkering with it a bit, looks like its time for an av mod

Yeah, I had a feeling. Those things are junky and go out all the time. Hit up Helder for one of his multi out AV kits!

I actually ordered yesterday all the parts I needed to do an a/v conversion on it. Luckily the transistor was the only thing I didnt already have in my parts supply so it was super cheap and will be a fun project
