NESRGB - no composite video *solved*

This NES-101 was working with RF prior to desoldering the PPU and installing a NESRGB.
I installed the NESRGB with the adapter board orientated correctly, bridged J3 and J5 for +5v and NTSC video, and jumped the 3rd pallet pad to ground (to eliminate issues with the pallet switch). I also desoldered and removed the transistor which enables RF on it as I'm removing RF completely.

I get 5V with my DMM at the NESRGB and the ground tests fine. I don't have a TV capable of RGB to test that, I planned to buy something down the line so in the interim I've been trying to use composite video (Pin V) for testing. The tv goes from no signal to a black screen when the top loader is switched on.

Here's some pictures: TOP & BOTTOM

Any ideas on where to start?

You sure you haven't mixed up the video and ground wires on your output cable?

Yup, I actually figured it out while this post was waiting on moderator approval... and since it wasn't posted yet I couldn't post a follow up :p
The signal wires to the jack were fine there was a bad solder joint on one of the headers. Broke out the MM and found it while checking continuity between it and the pinout schematic for the NESRGB.
