Well, this post is about NEStaliga, by Silk Wizard (Ben or Fabric Mage, whatever you want to call him) the game is using the BYOND engine.

Just check it out, I know some people may not like the BYOND engine, but it's quite a decent game. I was apart of the beta testing before it was open to the public.

It sucks, there is no Linux version, cause that would be even more tempting to me, since my main PC has PSU problems, so that is why I think it is sad that there are no Linux versions. But please do not ask me about using Wine, whether Wine is good or not.

Wine works fairly well with BYOND, there are some minor issues, but you /should/ be able to get it running at a playable level.

They should have all the information you'll need for getting BYOND to run with Wine.

The main developers of BYOND aren't really savvy when it comes to developing for Linux. This is why there hasn't been a proper port with graphical capabilities.

Heh, I saw this like, yesterday, coincidentally.

I got to that site after seeing a whole walkthrough of Dragon Warrior 2 on Youtube (like 200 minutes of it!) and wound up playing Dragon Quest 2 (Japanese Super Fami version) from the beginning on the Wii instead of playing this.

Hell, It's 8 AM now and I won't be working until, like, 11 or so... do I sleep, or do I get my DQ2 on?
