Here's the story: I have three computers in my house using the same wireless router. I need to transfer files between my laptop and my main computer. So far I've made sure the two computers were in the same workgroup and that they have two different IP addresses. When I try to go into "My Network Places," it won't let me see anything unless I use the little extention tree thing. When I used that, I can see the workgroup, but it says "[workgroup] is not accessible, check permissions (etc)." Now, I've made sure that the two directories I need to share in between the computers are marked for sharing.

I need to transfer a bunch of crap on my laptop to my home computer (60 gig hard drive vs. 200 gig) before I go off to uni, if anyone is wondering. I'm next to retarded when it comes to networking, so any help here would be great.

Well, they should all have different IP addresses... IP addresses are unique. Just find the IP address of your home computer, and map a drive from your laptop. Open (windows) explorer, and go to the Tools menu, and select "Map Network Drive". From there, type in \\homecomputerip\sharename and select the drive you want to map it too.
